Loving
God should be a priority for every believer. Jesus reminds
us that it is the greatest commandment. When we love God
we are devoted, committed, and submitted to Him. Unfortunately,
many of us say we love God but our hearts are far from Him.
God loves us unconditionally. He hears us when we call,
He provides for us daily whether we attribute the gifts
to Him or not. He protects us from dangers seen and unseen.
He bares us on eagle's wings to bring us to Himself. He
has given us the gift of salvation - an opportunity to be
free from the bondage of sin. With all that God has done
for us, personally giving him love in return is little to
ask. Will you give God your love? Will you commit to love
God with all your heart, all your strength, and all your
mind? You will never regret it. It's a guarantee.
"I WILL TRUST THEE
" Psalm
56:3
TRUSTING
GOD should not be a difficult thing for us since we serve
an awesome and trustworthy God. Yet we tend to struggle
with trusting God when the storms of life come upon us and
we begin to lose confidence in the one who is our only hope.
The problem is not with God's ability to help us, but with
our inability to confidently put our trust totally and completely
in God. God wants us to stop relying on self and others
to do the job that is only designed for God. Our job is
to abide, remain and have faith in God. Do you think you
can commit to putting your complete trust in Almighty God?
I believe you can do it with God's help.
"I WILL PRAISE THEE
"
Psalm 9:1
PRAISING
GOD with your whole heart is a commitment every worshipper
must make. God is weary or our half- hearted praise. He
desires praise from the very depths of our hearts. The Psalmist
encourages us in Psalm 150 to:
a. Praise God for His mighty acts.
b. Praise God for His excellent greatness.
c. Praise God in His sanctuary.
d. Praise God for He is good.
e. Let every thing that has breath to praise the Lord.
These
commitments to love God, to trust Him and to praise Him
with your whole heart are pathways to spiritual intimacy.
Make the commitment by praying this prayer.
Lord Jesus, I want to know you more. I desire to be intimacy
with you. I want to commit my love to you; to trust you
in all things and to praise you with my whole heart. I am
committing my all to you in Jesus name. Amen.
